Evidence standard · governing statementSheet 03 / 06 · rev. 1.0

A finding without a source is an opinion.

We are not paid for opinions.

Evidence is not an appendix added after the conclusion. It is the controlled path by which a conclusion may be inspected, disputed and changed.

Every conclusion should explain itself

The recommendation is not the evidence.

Step 01

Source

The record, export or account the work is read from.

Step 02

Rule

The declared, versioned test applied to that source.

Step 03

Finding

What the record shows once the rule is applied.

Step 04

Claim state

Supported, assumption, unverified or rejected.

Step 05

Reviewer

A named second party who is not the author.

Step 06

Decision

What leadership chooses to do, recorded separately.

Four claim states

Every material claim declares its standing.

  • supported

The registered evidence is sufficient for the stated claim under the declared test.

  • assumption

The claim is being used provisionally and its consequence is visible.

  • unverified

Evidence has been requested or identified but has not established the claim.

  • rejected

The available evidence contradicts the claim or the claim failed its test.

Control system

The record includes absence, challenge and revision.

Evidence registry
Each exhibit receives an identifier, source, owner, received date, sensitivity, storage reference and relevant coordinates.
Deterministic scoring
Maturity and opportunity scores follow versioned, inspectable rules. A score is not authored by an AI system.
No evidence
Failure to establish a fact is recorded in the not-established register. It is not silently converted into a negative conclusion.
Independent review
Material claims and findings are checked for source fit, rule application, contrary evidence and overstatement.
Disputes
A client may challenge facts, evidence or interpretation. The challenge, response and outcome stay attached to the record.
Withdrawals
A finding may be withdrawn when evidence changes or review fails. The reason and date remain visible.
Action risk
Roadmap items state what could be harmed by acting, delaying or relying on an unresolved assumption.
